Analysis of factors affecting biodiesel esterification by constant regression with fitting coefficient

The conversion rate of isoamyl stearate prepared by stearic acid and isoamyl alcohol was studied by using pyridine hydrogensulfate ionic liquid as catalyst.The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, catalyst dosage and molar ratio of alkyd on the single and combined effects of biodiesel esterification were studied. A fitting coefficient constant regression method was established to construct these four factors to biodiesel esterification reaction. The mathematical model of the composite action gives a functional relationship between the conversion rate of the biodiesel esterification reaction and the single and combined effects of the four influencing factors.The optimal reaction conditions were verified by the mathematical model of the composite influence with the molar ratio of alkyd acid of 7:1, reaction time of 35 minutes, catalyst dosage of 7% and reaction temperature of 80 癈.Using factor analysis method and weight analysis method, the model obtained by fitting coefficient regression method was analyzed, and the influence of four factors on the conversion rate of biodiesel esterification reaction and the optimal reaction conditions were used to calculate the weight of each factor. The research results show that the calculated conversion value calculated by mathematical model is 99.86%, which is compared with the experimental value conversion rate of 99.42%, and the relative error is only 0.443%.In the experimental range, the most important factor affecting the conversion is the amount of catalyst. When the molar ratio of alcohol to acid increases from 3:1 to 5:1, the conversion increases by 8.5384%, the molar ratio of alcohol to acid increases from 5:1 to 7:1, and the conversion increases by 3%.Under the optimal reaction conditions, among the four influencing factors, temperature > molar ratio of alcohol to acid > amount of catalyst > reaction time.
