As the third biggest hydropower station that has been put into operation,the safty and operation stability of turbine-generator unit is very inportant in Xiluodu Hydropower Plant,In order to further master the tightening and operating state of the bolts in key parts,The bolts force and its changes of Spiral Casing,draft tube manhole and the spiral casing manhole are measured on site in detail in this paper during the state of tightening,water filling,operating and load shedding for the first time in china. The experimental results show that the biggest stress of bolts of head cover and the spiral casing manhole reached 362Mpa and 214.6Mpa,the bolts force are all within the range which is designed and calculated by the unit manufacturer.In all kinds of conditions,The variation range of bolt stress of head cover,draft tube manhole and the spiral casing manhole reached 3.0Mpa,4.7Mpa and 0.12Mpa ;they all did not exceed the fatigue limit of stress amplitude in S-N curve , the bolts have higher safety margin. The test results are meaningful to the Analysis of Stress-strain and Fatigue Life of bolts,and they are also significant to the operation and maintenance of the units.
