The pressure limit of the conventional first-stage pressure chamber of the domestic cubic press is relatively low, about 6GPa, which restricts the development of domestic high-pressure science and related disciplines to a certain extent. Based on the assembly of the domestic cubic press, using the WC sheet as the pressurizing block, a new pressurized assembly was successfully developed, and the maximum pressure of the pressure chamber was up to 10 GPa. In addition to the use of pyrophyllite as a buffer outside the WC, it can protect the top hammer well and avoid damage, and has a certain heat preservation effect, so that it can run stably above 2000 °C.
