We report optical spectroscopy study on single crystal sample PrSb, which is one of the mono antimonides RSb compound which show many interesting properties, such as topological nontrivial surface state, and extremely large magnetoresistance. Our optical spectroscopy study reveals a low “screened” plasma edge at about 3000 cm-1 suggests this material has a low carrier density. What’s more, the study indicates that the “screened” plasma edge increases with decreasing temperature. More interestingly, we observe two quasilinear components with variable slopes in the real part of optical conductivity σ_1 (ω), which provides optical spectroscopic proof of the topological property in PrSb. In addition, there is a kink in σ_1 (ω), which might be due to the Van Hove singularity near the Weyl points. All our findings are in good agreement with the theoretical predications.
