容性负载下固态MARX发生器的研究

MARX发生器是一种基于“并联充电,串联放电”原理的高压脉冲发生装置,只需要提供比较低的电压即可通过简单的电路结构得到高压输出。由于其简单的电路结构,易于实施,在射频加速器、脉冲电场灭菌、电光调制等领域具有非常重要的意义。本文中,我们针对MARX发生器在接入容性负载时的瞬态电流过大问题,给出了一种改进型的拓扑结构,并给出了详细的参数计算方法。该结构依旧保持MARX发生器的经典结构,只需要加入少量无源器件即可实现限制容性负载接入MARX发生器后导致的瞬态电流过大问题。该方案特色在于成本低、可靠性高、简单易行,具有非常重要的工程应用价值。根据本文所提的结构及其计算方法,我们研制了一台20kV的MARX发生器,达到了在电容负载下降低瞬态电流的效果且效果显著。
Abstract The MARX generator is a high voltage pulse generator based on the principle of parallel charging and series discharge. It only needs to provide a relatively low voltage to obtain high voltage output by simple circuit structure. Because of its simple circuit structure and easy implementation, it is of great significance in RF accelerator, pulsed electric field sterilization, electro-optical modulation and other fields. In this paper, we give an improved topology for the problem of excessive transient current of the MARX generator when it is connected to the capacitive load, and give a detailed parameter calculation method. The structure still maintains the classic structure of the MARX generator. Only a small number of passive components can be added to the problem that the transient current is too large after the capacitive load is connected to the MARX generator. The scheme is characterized by low cost, high reliability, simple and feasible, and has very important engineering application value. According to the structure and calculation method proposed in this paper, a 20kV MARX generator has been developed to achieve the effect of reducing the transient current under the capacitance load and the effect is remarkable.
