Research and Application of On-line Monitoring Device for Dry-type Air-core Reactor

Dry-type air-core reactor is a high-voltage equipment used in power system for current limiting, reactive power compensation and filtering. In long-term running due to insulation aging the fault frequent and the inter turn short circuit fault rate is the highest. In this paper, an on-line monitoring device for dry-type air core reactor based on power angle is proposed. This device can realize data acquisition of multi-channel signals at the same time and achieve high-precision conversion. Finally, the power factor angle is obtained through data processing.The test results show that the device can effectively monitor the short-circuit insulation short-circuit fault of the reactor.
