An Offset Calibration Technique For Dynamic Comparator Based On Multi-rate Charge Pump

This paper presents an offset calibration technique based on multi-rate charge pump. Besides, we improve the comparison speed of comparator by reducing the latch regeneration time of comparator. According to the Monte-Carlo simulation results, the comparator achieves an offset of 1.5mV. The design is based on a 65nm CMOS process. The frequency of clock is 500MSps and the comparator works at 1.2V.
