A 2.8 V low-IF GPS receiver designed in 0.18 μm CMOS is proposed. The digitally-assisted calibration methods including I/Q mismatch calibration (IQMC), RC calibration, DC offset calibration (DCOC), automatic gain control (AGC) and automatic frequency control (AFC) are all integrated and automatically carried out when the chip is power on to ensure the receiver shows a weak PVT dependence. while drawing about 27 mA current, this GPS receiver achieves a minimum noise figure (NF) of less than 2 dB, an image rejection ratio (IMR) of more than 50 dB after IQMC, a maximum channel gain of 122 dB with 82 dB dynamic range and 2 dB precision, and an input-referred P1dB of about -40 dBm.
