Abstract
Open pit mining in China continues to develop rapidly, and the disposal of peeled rock and soil is becoming more and more important. In order to ensure the long-term development of mine safety, it is necessary to design and renovate the dump reasonably and effectively. Based on the investigation of the present situation of No. 1 dump in a certain iron mine, the rock formation and physical and mechanical properties are obtained, and the causes of instability may be analyzed.Under the existing stacks, the circular slip method is used to simulate and analyze the most typical section, and to infer the slip area. Then it puts forward the regulation scheme of slope unloading in different angles of two regions, considering the common influence of the two conditions of earthquake and rainfall, and analyzes the stability of the dump after the regulation. Finally, the dump site is evaluated to verify the feasibility of the remediation plan, so as to provide a research method for the remediation of similar dump.
