As the single pipeline of carbon dioxide injection have the problems of the narrow inerting area, the serious gas leakage field and the poor control effect in the fire prevention and extinguishing technology, the carbon dioxide injection technology combined with multi-pipeline and multi-source for fire prevention and extinguishing in goaf is put forward. Analyzing the parameters of gas injection pipe, mining technical and physical of inert gas, the index system of influence factors of carbon dioxide injection is established. On the basis of the diffusion model of carbon dioxide injection with single pipeline in goaf, the mathematical model of carbon dioxide injection combined with multi-source for fire prevention and extinguishing is established. Furthermore, the relationship of the different carbon dioxide injection parameters, such as the mining speed of working face, the gas injection position, the height of the gas outlet, the gas flow, etc. is studied, and the optimization of carbon dioxide injection parameters for fire prevention and extinguishing is proposed. The application of the No.7271 working face in the Yaoqiao mine shows that, this method can effectively reduce the width of oxidation zone and prevent the spontaneous combustion accidents in goaf.
