We are pleased to announce our third Art and Design International Conference 2018 (AnDIC 2018) with the theme of “Art Transformation Towards Industrial Revolution - IR4.0” be held at the Hotel Primula Beach Resort, Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia from the 2nd to 5th December 2018. This conference is organized by the Faculty of Art & Design, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

The aim of the Conference is to provide a platform for Masters and Professionals from various fields of Art & Design, Art Education, Communication and Media Studies to exchange ideas, issues in the pursuit of ‘Creative World Transformation Towards Industrial Revolution 4.0’, and its impact on towards artist, entrepreneurs, educators, students. Intermediaries, creators, audience, policymakers and others.

This Art and Design International Conference 2018 will address a range of pertinent topics and themes relating to the issues, development and impact of Visual Communication and New Media, Art and Cross Dicipline, Design and Built Environment, Art and Education, Cultural Studies and Social Implication of Art. All theoretical, empirical and practical papers from scholars, professionals and post-graduate students that fall within the conference scope are welcome.

The conference is an extension of AnDIC2012, and AnDIC2016 which have discussed themes related to innovation and transformation as well as issues, development and impact of Cyberology in Art and Design in the face of global challenges.

AnDIC2018 is also keen to fulfill the aspiration of University Teknologi MARA as a public university under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOE) in preparing the education system in particular related to the curriculum of the university in the face of the 'Industrial Revolution 4.0' (IR-4.0). Through AnDIC2018, the Faculty of Art and Design (FSSR), UiTM will examine issues and developments surrounding the 'Industrial Revolution-4.0' world in general, as well as its impact on the creative world of Art and Design. 

AnDIC2018 will discuss issues related to Art and Design from the perspective of Visual Communication, Virtual Reality (VR), Intermediate Reality (AR), Simulation, Internet-of-Things, Virtual Games, Hologram, Art Education Visual, Communication and Media, New Discipline Potential, Arts, Commodities and Businesses, New Approach to Art Management, Visual Art and Culture History, Global Environment and Climate as well as Integration of Arts and Sciences and the Curriculum in the creative world. It is hoped that AnDIC2018 will be a platform for brainstorming and presentation of ideas by students, lecturers and even industry.
