We invite you to the 2018 meeting of the AAS which will be held at Eastern Michigan University in beautiful Ypsilanti, Michigan from June 22-26. Ypsilanti is known for its local craft beers and potent art scene and is 20 minutes from the bohemian town of Ann Arbor and 40 minutes from Detroit.

The Motor City has many attractions to offer from the internationally acclaimed Detroit Institute of Arts, a live local music scene, the most delectable ribs you will eat in Sweetwater's downtown and of course the waterfront. In the Detroit metro area we have a National Historic Landmark In the Henry Ford Museum, which has everything from the bus where Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to the circular Dymaxion aluminum “house of the future” designed by visionary architect R. Buckminster Fuller.
