The Xi'an Jiao Tong University (XJTU) is pleased to invite you to The 11th Asia-Pacific Conference on Fracture and Strength; APCFS2018, to be held at Grand Dynasty Culture Hotel, China on Oct. 21-25, 2018.

All topics of advanced technology regarding fracture and strength of materials and structure, from basic research to industrial applications, will be of interest in APCFS2018.

APCFS Overview

“Asia-Pacific Conference on Fracture and Strength”(APCFS) is co-organized and sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. Aiming at promoting the academic communication from Chinese, Japanese and Korean scientists as well as related international scientists and engineers, especially for reinforcing the research and coorperation of the three countries. Since it was first held in Sendai, Japan in 1984, it has been held regularly every 2~3 years in the three countries. The series of meetings have been expanded and the participants have not been confined to the Asia Pacific region. In 2014, Australia offcially became the host of the APCFS series conference, so it became the academic conference jointly held by China, Japan, Korea and Australia. In 2018, the eleventh“Asia-Pacific Conference on Fracture and Strength”will be held in Xi'an, China, which will be hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University.
