Geochemical processes of mineralization and alteration have occurred in diverse crustal and mantle environments throughout Earth's history. The 2018 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on the Geochemistry of Mineral Deposits will provide a state-of-the-art appraisal of mineralizing phenomena across all scales, from nanoparticle creation to tectonic plate migration. Global leaders from academia, industry and government will gather to discuss mineralizing phenomena, their key geological drivers and environments that promote their effective operation. The organizers of this conference have now finalized the Discussion Leaders and are now finalizing the list of Speakers. More details regarding the conference will be posted as soon as they are finalized. For the first time, a Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on the Geochemistry of Mineral Deposits will be held for two days preceding the main GRC conference. The GRS is an opportunity for Early Career Researchers (PhD and Postdoctoral Researchers) to showcase their research activities.
