The Special Session on Digitization Technology and Management brings together academics, researchers, and practitioners to address fundamental and practical aspects of digitization technologies, development and operation - in a close relationship to novel approaches for software engineering, software architecture and related management for service computing and the evolution of IT. The focused digital transformation of services with associated digital products and processes is strong correlated with current advances and the evolution of IT. Service computing unifies current aspects of cloud computing, mobile computing, big data, and social computing by using a digital architectural approach, which has its roots in adaptive software architecture and enterprise architecture.
