Welcome to the 17th ASEAN Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Congress (ASEAN ORL-HNS 2017) and the extraordinary city of Yangon, Myanmar, which will be hosting the congress on 16-18 November 2017.

Our theme this year signifies the Asian value of solidarity and working together in a concerted effort to elevate the standards of technology and treatment throughout our region to the highest levels.

Toward this goal, the congress will promote cooperation and scientific exchange through a comprehensive programme that covers all the significant advances in the field of otorhinolaryngology through plenary discussions, debates and pre-congress workshops that allow hands-on interaction with our exceptional international faculty.

Of course, we will also make time to catch up with colleagues and friends, and make new ones, at the traditional congress social events. There has never been a more important time to be at ASEAN ORL-HNS 2017, or a more exciting time to be in Myanmar, a country transformed that is fast becoming Asia’s next rising star.
